"Icy" - Approaching Nirvana

Everything was dying. Withering away in the frozen storm. Families, parents, children, siblings, friends, everyone. Dead. But her. She stood on the highest point, looking down upon all the destruction she had caused. Tears welled, but she wiped them away as quick as she had killed them. The tornado of destruction had died down on the horizon, but the damage was done. Everyone had told her that her power was special, but people must never be hurt because of it. She had always made sure that no one had even a scratch when she used it, but this time, of course, this time she let go. It was a simple fight with her mother that had meddled with her emotions so much so that she couldn’t control it. As she watched the bodies rot, her mind withered trying to come to terms with the fact that she had just done an act of genocide. What could she do? There was no one here. No one else on the whole planet was alive. Other then her. Stood on the top of the high cliff, she looked down upon the point where her body would lay forevermore. One last breath. Three… Two… One… Jump. Dead.
